Every letter has a list of words, for every word there is a small description of what it means and also if the word is a verb, noun, adjective, preposition, pronouns or conjunction. Always use a dictionary if possible Remember it is best to use a dictionary the list for each word is not as great as it would be in a dictionary.
In these activities, the student finds and writes a specific type of word for each letter of the alphabet (e.g., animal words or verbs). Finding the words involves both thinking about the sounds of words and the subject of the printout. A dictionary (like Little Explorers online picture dictionary) may be helpful in finding some of the words.
